Motor Connector Adapter for Bioreactor

The Challenge

The Distek BIONE Bioprocess Control Station is a state-of-the-art benchtop scale bioreactor with high standards of both functionality and surface quality.

The customer needed to produce connectors for a low volume customized product that needed to fit various controller models. Injection molding with ABS was not feasible and other 3D printing materials did not meet functionality or surface quality  specifications.

The Solution

Using LOCTITE 3D 3843 High Toughness, the customer was able to create a connector adapter that meet both functionality and surface finish requirements.
